Scarcity in French student housing

We estimate that the French student housing market is lacking 1.2M beds and this scarcity will only increase by 2025 along with growing student population.
The current pace of construction will only make up for the inflow of additional students, which will primarily come from foreign students attracted by the quality & low cost of education in France.
Public offering will remain dominant in the market in the short-term, but the lack of funding will shift local authorities towards private offering to answer increasing student demand.
